Cais dos Anjos was imagined and build by Tony and it’s our family beach house since 1991. He was the one who idealized this very unique and special place. In is memory and in a way to follow up is work and dream, we named the two houses that are part of Cais dos Anjos. (Sea House and Terra House) Two things that he loved: the sea and working in the garden soil “terra”. In 2017, his daughter, Joana, decided to return to Madeira after studying and working abroad and together with the family decided to remodel the houses and give life to them again. One of Tony dreams still lives with us.

Cais dos Anjos Houses is located in Ponta do Sol, being one of the most famous areas of the island for its mild weather conditions throughout the year. Ponta de Sol lives up to its name and, believe me, there is a fantastic new sunset to see every day. If you are looking for a place where you can have a private beach, Cais dos Anjos Houses offers this perk. But before reaching the sea, enjoy the descent to the house. Access to Cais dos Anjos Houses is via steps that lead to various viewpoints that embody what this beautiful island is all about. As soon as you descend, through the stone stairs, your sight will be lost in the immensity of the sea and the vastness of the green fruit trees, which will accompany you on this adventure.
Upon arriving at the beautiful blue door, you reach the secondary entrance of the houses and there, the bougainvillea and other flowers will be part of the rest of the scenery ahead. Welcome to the houses and your private pier. Cais dos Anjos is divided into two houses, the Terra house and the Sea house, each decorated with its own theme. The houses offer 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 WC, 1 fully equipped kitchenette, 1 dining room and living room, and a mezzanine – where 2 more single beds are available. Each house has its own barbecue and access to the pier is through the gate that gives access to the pebble. Our motto is due to respect for Nature: take care of it as you would like it to take care of you.
